Jesus said”Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matt 28:19)
Our vision is ’to see Jesus Christ worshipped as Lord and Saviour by all peoples everywhere’
Our desire is to reach others with the good news of Jesus, whether the person next door or on the global mission field.
We support a variety of projects and people around the world, including but not limited to:
Africa Inland Mission - We partner with AIM in two parts of Africa to plant churches where there are no Christians.
Bunda Bible College (Helen Entwistle) in Tanzania - Bunda is a training college for church leaders in north west Tanzania.
Helen is a member of our church family who visits to support theological education by teaching English.
Luwero Project (Gabriel & Deborah Kijambu) in Uganda -
The Luwero Project runs a school, farm, hospital and dormitories to look after orphaned kids in a Christian environment. Gabriel pastors the church at Luwero.
Platform 67 (Andrew & Pamela Dudgeon) - Keeping world missions simple and accessible to everyone. Andrew & Pamela Dudgeon were formaly members of St Andrew’s church family. Platform 67 partners with local Christians in ‘hard to reach’ parts of the world to share the gospel where it is least known, and helps local churches understand the privilege of being involved in mission, providing resources and regular prayer materials.
We are a Church of England church and part of the Diocese of Blackburn
Along with the bishops of our own diocese, we benefit from the oversight of the Bishop of Ebbsfleet
We also work with a wide range of Christian organisations, including the following:
