SEND (World Mission) FAQ's

Who is on the SEND (world mission) task team?
Tom Thorp - chair
Andrew & Pamela Dudgeon
Amanda ‘Frazz’ Simpson
How can I explore going on a short-term mission trip?
There are many opportunities, both in the UK (eg. summer camps, beach missions) and overseas. A list of current short-term opportunities can be found here.
Financial support may be available to help; please see our World Mission policy.
How can I give to world missions?
Speak to David Jones (our church treasurer) or a member of the SEND (world mission) task team.
Is God calling me to be a missionary?
If you feel God may be calling you to get involved in cross-cultural mission there are many ways to exploring this further. We would recommend talking with a member of the SEND (world mission) team or one of the clergy. Small steps are often helpful. Why not attend a missions conference (https://oscar.org.uk/events) or read a good missions book or biography. Sign up to receive prayer letters from one of our ‘Away Team’ and commit to praying for them. You could also explore your own calling at the Christian Vocations website here.
