Harkers Family - Mini Prayer Update
Dear Friends and Partners, just to say that we arrived safely in UK early Monday morning. We then had a nice few days with Andy’s parents recovering before travelling Saturday to the Cotswolds via Newbury. Finding the heat in the UK a bit of a shock to the system. It was snowing in Kenya a few days ago (for the first time in living memory).
While we’re in the UK we will probably just keep using our Kenyan mobiles (roaming) and we’re available on Whatsapp.
Hope to see many of you soon. Apologies to those who we won’t make it to this time. Should be back in UK again next February.
For mutually encouraging times visiting partners and churches over the next six weeks and for good time with family.
For a refreshing time at the Keswick Convention at the end of the month.
For GracePoint Church as they prepare for a children’s holiday Bible club at the end of this month. Pray for grace, strength and wisdom for the pastors in these early days and for the church to keep preaching and living out and ministering to one another the gospel of grace.
For iServe Africa as they make the move at the end of the month from ‘Halfway House’ (our organisational home for the last 3 years) into the still-being-built Training Centre - a big move.
Thank God for the new intake of 18 apprentices (the 10th September-start intake), a very promising bunch and largely guys this year. Pray for them as they seek partnerships with friends and contacts over the next couple of months which can fund them through their apprenticeship year.
Lots of love,
Andy, Susie, Bethan, Jacob and Hannah
